“Tears Dry” by iNANA and The Unused Word is a female-only production. Two voices merge with each other perfectly – one fragile and angelic, the other dark and soulful. Strong vocals meet minimalistic producing, thus creating a subtle but deep, hopeful but melancholic environment. Thematically, the two singers lead through the emotions of first-time motherhood, a topic that also fuels the music video. With stop motion technology, impressions of a pregnancy are shown: the invisible inner world as well as the outer world.
The track was selected for the six-part mini-series “Am Anschlag – Die Macht der Kränkung” by Mona Film in production for ZDF and ORF (first broadcast on August 24, 2021), finding use in other life situations in which consolation is searched and found.
Tears Dry is the first single from iNANA’s upcoming album “I’m here“.
