Eine Hymne an die Selbstliebe. In ihrer neuen Single löst sich INANA von Schönheitsidealen und digitaler Performativität los und bestätigt: “You are enough”. Mit ihren unverkennbaren urbanen Beats (Produzentin: Iva Zabkar) und Synthesizer-Melodien liefert INANA somit einen weiteren Vorgeschmack auf ihre LP “I’m here”, die Ende 2022 erscheint. In “You are enough” geht es ums Re-Connecten mit sich selbst, dem Vertrauen auf seine Einzigartigkeit und dem Bewusstsein, dass wir alle gut und genug sind. Aufhänger war für die Künstlerin die Oberflächlichkeit, die in der Social Media Welt oft gelebt wird und den damit verbundenen Vergleich mit anderen, vermeintlich “erfolgreicheren” Menschen. INANA kritisiert die Mainstream-Gesellschaft und deren gängigen Erwartungshaltungen, die Frauen und weiblich gelesene Personen immer positiv, leistungsorientiert, selbstbewusst und gleichzeitig normschön sehen will.
“You are enough” ist ein empowerndes Statement, um zurück zu sich selbst und zur eigenen, inneren Stimme zu finden, die einem sagt “Du bist genug.”

INANAs Hauptmerkmal ist die zarte, aber gleichzeitig starke Stimme, die auf zeitgenössische, urbane Beats trifft und mit dreamy Melodien perfekt abgerundet wird. Sie gehört damit zu den Vertreter*innen einer neuen, female-fronted Musikszene in Wien, die ihre Musik überwiegend mit Frauen bzw. FLINTA*s produziert. “You are enough” ist von Komponistin und Produzentin Iva Zabkar realisiert, die zuletzt erneut internationale Preise für ihr Schaffen erhielt.
